With a background focused on training, technique and talent, Vanessa has dedicated over 25 years to the beauty industry and makeup education. With a passion for makeup emerging early in the her life, Vanessa took the initiative to grow her portfolio; establish industry connections and dive into full-time freelance work. “One of the favourite things about my business is that I get to do my hobby and have one-on-one connections with people all the time, making people look and feel great.” Vanessa has worked on clients in the advertising, events, fashion and TV industries, from her backyard in far North Queensland, Australia, to London, England and Scotland, United Kingdom. Settling back in Melbourne, Australia – she launched her own podcast @The Makeup Insider (TMI) to help other artists who find the makeup industry difficult to navigate. “I’m building a supportive online community where mua’s can grow, connect and shine.”
